The first seven episodes of the fourth and final season of the Netflix series “Ozark” premiered Friday, Jan. 21, and viewers with sharp eyes and keen attention to detail can catch a glimpse of downtown Buford in the fourth episode of the series.

The Emmy Award-winning Netflix crime drama filmed scenes for the final season on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, along Main Street. During the sole day of filming, a large sign in front of the former West Main Trade coffee shop proclaimed that Buford had become Boone, North Carolina, and storefronts along Main Street were transformed into businesses in the town of Boone.

The second set of seven episodes rounding out the series are set to be released at a later date.
