BUFORD — The North Gwinnett Voice has just learned of an active investigation in front of Academy Sports but behind Texas Roadhouse on Buford Drive in Buford on Monday afternoon.
The details of the events surrounding the investigation are currently unknown. What we do know at this time is that a large police presence including the crime scene investigation van has marked off an area surrounding a black four-door sedan in the parking lot behind Texas Roadhouse and in front of Academy Sports in Buford. The incident is believed to have taken place around 2 p.m. or just before that time.
