SUWANEE — The North Gwinnett football team hosted McEachern for the Corky Kell Classic on Thursday night, September 3, 2020.  The game was delayed by almost an hour as the Brookwood/Dacula match-up took four OTs to finish. Each game in the Corky Kell Classic must end before another one starts due to them being televised. North Gwinnett would beat McEachern 35-7.

Interceptions would prove costly for McEachern with the biggest interception of the night coming at the North Gwinnett 5-yard line when North’s Jayson Gilliom intercepted a McEachern pass running it in for a 95-yard touchdown in the second quarter.  Barrett Carter had an 80-yard touchdown coming off of an interception in the fourth quarter with less than a minute on the clock.
