North Gwinnett’s swim program had good expectations going into the GHSA State Swimming and Diving meet at Georgia Tech over the weekend.  While they did not place in the top four for overall team results, they did not walk away empty handed. They netted two championship titles.

The Lady Bulldogs 200-yard medley relay team placed first at Georgia Tech edging out Brookwood by just 46 milliseconds.  Courtney Niemann placed third in the 7-A 200-yard individual medley. Coming in just behind Hailey Galbraith of North Forsyth is North Gwinnett’s own Chantal Jordan taking second place in the 7-A 50-yard freestyle race.

The lone boy’s swim title for North Gwinnett came from Mikael Getahoun in the 100-yard butterfly race beat Evan McInerny from Peachtree Ridge with a time of 49.89.

Congratulations to the North Gwinnett Swim Team!
