Hall County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jihad Abdul Karim, age 24 of Atlanta, Ga on May 25, 2019. Deputies arrested Karim at a location in the 7000 block of Lake Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford.
Karim was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle. Deputies arrested him without incident. Karim was charged with felony theft by receiving for the stolen motor vehicle.
He will also face an additional charge of cruelty to animals after Hall County deputies found a dog locked inside the vehicle with all the windows rolled up.
Karim was booked into the Hall County Jail. He has since been released after posting his bond.
The case remains under investigation by investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
