SUWANEE – Officers with the Gwinnett County Police Department responded to a residential burglary call shortly after 6 p.m. in the 800 block of Sentry Ridge Crossing in unincorporated Suwanee. 

The victim, Sanh Luu told officers that he and his wife left their home around 3 p.m. on October 25 and returned home at 6 p.m. Mr. Luu found that someone had forced their way into his home and stole several items. 

Upon investigation, officers found that unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the home by smashing out the bathroom window. The suspect(s) searched the bathroom and master bedroom but did not rifle through any other part of the home. 

The unknown suspect(s) took a safe from the bathroom closet and with an unknown tool forced open the safe removing items from it. Over $400 in cash and jewelry items valued at $3,260 were stolen. 

Once the suspect(s) were done, they exited the residence back through the bathroom window.
