LAWRENCEVILLE — The Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources has reopened it’s customer care walk-in facility.  The facility, located at 684 Winder Hwy. in Lawrenceville, has adopted several safety measures to maintain social distancing to protect employees and customers.

A few of those new measures are that the lobby is limited to nine guests at a time, staff is on hand to help maintain social distancing at all times, pathways have been marked as “one way” to help cut down on people coming into contact with one another.  Signs in both English and Spanish have been placed throughout the facility to clearly mark the exits and entrances in areas.  In addition to those measures, markers have been placed on the floor to show visitors where to stand to maintain the 6 feet recommended by the CDC.  Visitors are also encouraged to wear masks while at the Water Resources facility.

Even though the facility is now open to the public again, customers are still encouraged to handle their business over the phone, internet, or utilize the drive-thru services in lieu of coming in person to Water Resources.

Customers should contact the Water Resources Customer Care team directly for account options if they have been impacted by COVID-19 and are having difficulty paying their bill.
