The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging parents, guardians and caregivers to monitor children’s Internet activity following an arrest made by the Trafficking and Child Exploitation Unit.

Totimeh

Richmond Totimeh, 26, of Lawrenceville was arrested July 6 and is charged with use of a computer service to seduce a child, obscene Internet contact with a child and criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation by sodomy. He is housed at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.

“We encourage parents, guardians, and family members to monitor their children’s internet usage,” a news release from the sheriff’s office states. “Social media, dating apps, and chat rooms are platforms for vulnerable individuals to be targeted.”
