With seven winning games under their belts, the undefeated Wolves are heading into week four of their 2022 softball season with some notable stats.

  • The team has held its opponents to only 10 runs in 7 games — the lowest number of runs allowed since 2016.
  • At bat, the team’s batting average is .415, the highest average since the program’s inception in 2002.
  • Opponents are batting .160 against Buford’s pitchers, the lowest opponent average since 2009.
  • The team’s fielding average of .994 is the highest average since the program started in 2022.

The Wolves will play a non-region home game against Elbert County at 6 p.m. today, Monday, Aug. 29, and will resume Region 8-AAAAAAA play with a home matchup against Mill Creek at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30. The Wolves will close out week four with a 6 p.m. region game against Central Gwinnett at home.
