Every year students from Georgia middle and high schools are selected to participate in the Georgia Music Educators Association’s All-State Band and Chorus in Athens, Georgia.
This year’s All-State Chorus takes place February 14-16, 2019 in Athens. Buford Middle School is honored to announce that seven chorus students have been selected to participate in this year’s All-State Chorus. Ms. Meredith Drake is the Chorus Director for BMS. Her students selected for All-State Chorus are Mariana Borja, Samantha Brody, Madisyn Christian, Mara Eva Cline, Maggie Dale, Teresa Moody, and Luke Riza.
The 2019 All-State Band will take place February 28-March 2, 2019. Three band students from Buford Middle School were selected to participate in this year’s All-State Band. BMS Band Director Mr. Luther Harris and Buford Middle School are honored to announce that Ray Choi, Ryan McKinnis, and Joseph Her were selected to All-State Band for 2019.
