Willena Smith Robinson, age 92, of Buford, GA passed away Friday, January 25, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Raymond Wells, and her husband of 16 years, Ralph Robinson. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her daughter, Linda Wells Evans, Buford, GA; son-in-law, Gary B. Evans, Buford, GA; 3 grandchildren, Raelyn Wells (Andy) Phlegar, Marietta, GA, Diana Wells DelGiudice, Tampa, FL, and Deanna Wells (Doug) Stein, Pensacola, FL; great-grandchildren, Jessica (Doug) Menard, Makenzie Stein, Riley DelGiudice , Karli DelGiudice, Daniel (Sydney) Phlegar; Kyle Phlegar, Jordyn Phelgar; two great-great-grandchildren, Callie Menard, Cayson Menard; one sister, Carolyn Hattaway, Macon, GA; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Robinson was born on February 7, 1926, in Dexter, GA to Walter Eubenna and Susie Butler Smith. She graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida. She worked for Tampa Federal Savings and Loans from 1955 to 1975 and retired. Willena met her second husband, Ralph Robinson, and moved to Buford, GA in late 1975. She remarried in 1982. She became active in the Buford Lanier Woman’s Club and worked on numerous projects that benefited her community and the Tallulah Falls School. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, El Tehran Temple No. 122, Atlanta, GA. She worked on projects with the Nile that benefited the Shriners Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Williams and Mr. Ken Ledbetter officiating and the eulogy will be given by family members. Graveside service and interment, following the service for Willena, will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Glenn Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia 31216. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 28, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 South Lee Street, Buford, GA 30518.
