Warming station at Buford Senior Center to provide overnight relief from cold temperatures

As overnight temperatures have begun to drop to 35 degrees and below, Gwinnett County has started opening its warming stations.

From 6 p.m. tonight, Saturday, Nov. 19, through 7 a.m. tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 20, a warming station at the Buford Senior Center, one of five stations in the county, will offer a meal and rest to those in need overnight relief from the cold.

The warming station will also be open overnight Sunday, according to the county’s website.

The senior center is at 2755 Sawnee Ave. on bus route 101 I-985, stop 19.
