LAWRENCEVILLE — Buford’s varsity volleyball team traveled to Central Gwinnett on Tuesday night to begin their region play.  They took on Central Gwinnett first beating them with set scores of 25-2, 25-4.  Dacula would also fall to Buford as the Wolves had set scores of 25-16, 25-17.

Leading Buford’s offense was junior Mikayla Hayden with 11 kills and sophomore Sydney Austin had eight kills.  Senior Carleigh Hillier had 12 digs leading the defense for the Wolves.

Buford improves to 13-0 overall and 2-0 in the region.

The Wolves will travel to Shiloh High School next Tuesday to play both Shiloh and Winder Barrow.
