The Atlanta Humane Society merged with the Georgia SPCA.  The Georgia SPCA operated an adoption facility in Suwanee, Georgia but difficulties last summer have led them to leave the facility.  In Spring, the Atlanta Humane Society will be opening a new adoption center in Gwinnett County.

The new adoption facility will be located just five miles from the old Suwanee location.  The new adoption center will be located at 2148 Duluth Highway in Duluth, Georgia.

The Atlanta Humane Society is proud to be able to serve the community the way the Georgia SPCA did for so many years, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated with grand opening details,” said Cat Morgan, President and CEO of the Atlanta Humane Society.

As part of the merger, the Georgia SPCA’s website and social media accounts will be routed to the Atlanta Humane Society’s pages.  Emails from the Georgia SPCA will be ending as well.
