SUWANEE, Ga. — The Suwanee Police Department has released the identities of the suspects wanted in connection with the death of a Sugar Hill father that took place at the Walmart in Suwanee last Saturday.

Christian Gutierrez, age 42 of Sugar Hill, Ga. was struck by a UHaul truck that was being driven used by two young men who had been inside of the Walmart shoplifting.  The driver of the UHaul ran over Gutierrez and drug him out onto Satellite Boulevard killing him.

Suwanee Police have identified the suspects as Keytavuis Arice Lowam “Tay”, age 18 of Decatur, Ga. and Jafar D. Hunter Jr. “ManMan”, age 15 also of Decatur. The suspects are known as “water boys” that frequent the Memorial Drive/Columbia Drive area.  Warrants for Felony Murder and Felony Shoplifting have been issued for both suspects.  They are not in custody and currently, their whereabouts are unknown.  Their warrants have been turned over to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Task Force.

Gutierrez’s widow, Ana Gutierrez said that the UHaul truck had hit their van and that they had already called police as they waiting for the driver of the truck to come out of Walmart.  She stated that she saw the two young men run out of the store and that her husband confronted them.  Somehow during the middle of the confrontation, her husband was pushed and ended up falling underneath the tires.  The suspects did not stop and proceeded to run him over.

Her son got out of the van to try and stop them but nothing could be done.  Gutierrez’s daughter-in-law and grandkids also witnessed the horrible scene.
