BUFORD — A male walks into a jewelry store at the Mall of Georgia, asks to see two necklaces, and then suddenly snatches them from the employee.

A male suspect enters the Markezza Jewelers at the Mall of Georgia in Buford on June 29, 2020, at approximately 3:30 p.m. and started looking at necklaces in a case.  A saleswoman noticed the male and asked if he needed assistance.  The male then asks to see two particular 24-inch “Miami Cuban” 10 karat gold necklaces.

The male is described as an African American male wearing a white t-shirt, a COVID mask, and long hair.
