Buford, Ga – At approximately 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, officers with the Gwinnett County Police Department were searching for a suspect in the vicinity of Buford Drive and Buford Highway. Multiple police car units along with a helicopter were actively searching for Dylan Lee Kaufman, age 23 of Buford.
Just before 3 p.m., officers located Kaufman near the storage units at Commerce Drive and Buford Highway. He was taken to the Gwinnett County Jail and was booked in at 3:28 p.m. He is being held without bond.
The charges listed for Kaufman include burglary with intent to commit a theft, criminal damage to property in the second degree, possession of methamphetamine, and willful obstruction of law enforcement.
