The identities of the four people who were shot during an incident that occurred on May 12, 2021, at the Preston Hills apartment complex in Buford have finally been released by the Gwinnett County Police Department.
Edgar J. Cruz-Fuentes, age 24 of Buford was identified as the person who was found deceased at the scene. Deniss Becerra, a 27-year-old female from Buford later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Another male, Ronald R. Cruz-Fuentes, age 20 of Buford is still listed in critical condition while a 20-year-old female, Lillian Kayarath was treated and released from the hospital.
According to investigators, the motive for the shooting remains unclear and they are asking anyone with any information in this case to please come forward.
