The North Gwinnett Bulldogs could not contain Parkview’s running game Friday, Sept. 9, at Tom Robinson Stadium in Suwanee. The Bulldogs lost 48-21.

North Gwinnett would score first in the game when sophomore quarterback Ryan Hall rushed for a 17-yard touchdown with 2:36 left in the first quarter. Parkview closed out the first quarter with a 30-yard field goal by senior Carlos Munoz.

Going into the second quarter, North Gwinnett retained the lead 7-3. The Bulldogs added on another touchdown when a 91-yard kickoff return by Kenan Holmes set up a 7-yard push into the end zone by Kayden McDonald to make the score 14-3 in favor of the Bulldogs.

Parkview’s Khyair Spain would lead Parkview’s running game to put Parkview in the position to score 21 points to end the first half with the Panthers in the lead 24-14.

In the second half, Parkview would add a 51-yard field goal by Munoz and three touchdowns that were the result of North’s Hall being intercepted three different times, two of which were pick-sixes.
