Sugar Hill city representatives were on hand to welcome a new bar experience to downtown. The Rooftop, located appropriately on the rooftop of the E Center — 5019 W. Broad Street, Suite M307 — above Central City Tavern and Indio Brewing, celebrated its grand opening Saturday, June 23.

“The city holds a special place in our hearts,” said co-owner Jennifer Silvestro, “and we couldn’t be more grateful for the warm welcome and support we have received. Sugar Hill has such a vibrant and close-knit community, and we are honored to be a part of it.”

Owned and operated with her husband Jeff Blanchard, the entrepreneurial couple hope the upscale bar with bird-seye views of downtown and The Bowl will become a prominent destination in the heart of Sugar Hill.

City officials agreed.

“Whether it’s date night, an after-work gathering, a night out with friends, or a special occasion, The Rooftop invites patrons to enjoy the charm of Downtown Sugar Hill,” said Sugar Hill City council member Mason Roszel. “With its prime location and beautiful views of downtown, The Rooftop’s commitment to delivering top-notch service, and handcrafted cocktails, makes it a perfect hangout spot for those spending time in our Sweet City.”

Patrons can enjoy various handcrafted cocktails, wine and beer inside or on the outdoor beer garden. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available. Although The Rooftop does not have a food menu, they offer charcuterie boards patrons can order in addition to being able to bring in food.

With live music every week, The Rooftop is open 4 to 11 p.m. Monday through Wednesday., 4 p.m. to midnight Thursdays, 2 p.m. to midnight Fridays and noon to midnight Saturdays. The establishment is closed on Sundays.
