BUFORD — The Gwinnett County Police Department’s Burglary Unit is seeking the public’s help to identify a man who broke into a local construction company and made off with $29,000 worth of materials and tools.
On April 3, 2020, officers responded to a commercial burglary that took place overnight at Infinity Construction located at 4963 Austin Park Ave. in unincorporated Buford. Upon reviewing security footage, police observed a male suspect cutting the fence and using ladders to climb the barbed wire fence to gain access to the facility. Â
Upon gaining access to the business, the suspect stole multiple cat heads or motors used for cellphone tower construction worth $24,000. He also made off with several rolls of wiring valued at $4,000 and $1,000 in tools from the company.
