Vote Results

The results are in for the 2020 primary runoff election for offices in the Gwinnett County area.  Several races for federal, state, and local for the North Gwinnett area required a runoff election after none of the candidates received 51% or more of the total vote.

The final candidates for each race will be on the ballot for the November 3 General Election.

A list of the runoff election results is listed below.

U.S. House of Representatives – District 9 – Republican

Matt Gurtler – 44%  (38,834 votes)

U.S. House of Representatives – District 9 – Democrat

☑ Devin Pandy – 68%  (8,013 votes)

Brooke Siskin – 32%  (3,691 votes)

Georgia State Senate – 9th District – Democrat

☑ Nikki Merritt – 66%  (5,718 votes)

Gabe Okoye – 34%  (2,993 votes)

Gwinnett County Commission Chairman – Democrat

☑ Nicole Love Hendrickson – 80%  (23,952 votes)

Lee Thompson Jr. – 20%  (6,053 votes)

Gwinnett County Commission – District 3 – Republican 

☑ Ben Archer – 53%  (2,919 votes)

Matt DeReimer – 47%  (2,566 votes)

Gwinnett County Commission – District 3 – Democrat

☑ Jasper Watkins III – 52%  (5,708 votes)

Derrick Wilson – 48%  (5,262 votes)

Gwinnett County Sheriff – Democrat

☑ Keybo Taylor – 55%  (16,489 votes)

Curtis Clemons – 45%  (13,677 votes)

Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner – Democrat

☑ Tiffany Porter – 57%  (16,951 votes)

Regina Carden – 43%  (12,897 votes)

Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge

☑ Deborah Fluker – 59%  (28,006 votes)

Kathy Schrader – 41%  (19,283 votes)
