A Gwinnett County man was arrested and charged with practicing dentistry without a license after the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office received reports he caused pain and disfigurement to individuals for which he performed procedures.

Gerardo S. Lossada, 45, of Snellville, was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 23, and booked into the Gwinnett County Jail on a $1,300 bond. He has since been released.

Investigators executing a search warrant at Lossada’s residence found evidence of dentistry and orthodontics procedures.

The Georgia Dentistry Board is assisting the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office with the ongoing investigation.
