On Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at approximately 8:30 p.m., crews with Hall County Fire responded to Holiday Marina in the 6900 block of Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford.

Upon arrival, crews found four boats and two personal watercraft engulfed in flames on dock seven at the marina.  Crews worked quickly to extinguish the flames and by 9:30 p.m., the bulk of the flames had been extinguished.  Firefighters remained on the scene to put out any hot spots.

One person was checked out for an injury but they refused transport to the hospital.  No other injuries were reported.

“The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office,” said Zach Brackett with Hall County Fire Services. “Additional information will be provided when it is available.”
