Amari Wansley – WR BD – 11 and Ace Edwards – WR DB – 12

BUFORD — Rising senior Amari Wansley announced on Friday night that he has made a verbal commitment to play football for the Florida Atlantic (Boca Raton, Fla.) Owls.

Wansley helped the Buford Wolves win the Class AAAAA State Championship in 2019.  He is a double threat playing both the position of wide receiver and defensive back. The 6-foot 175-pound Wansley contributed to the Buford defense with 44 tackles, one assist, three tackles for loss, one QB pressure, five touchdown-saving tackles, one recovered fumble, and broke up four passes.
