The Buford High School volleyball team announced on Monday evening that senior Kiana Polk has verbally committed to further her academic and volleyball career at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Md. next year.

Polk is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound outside hitter for the Lady Wolves volleyball team. She was recently named to the 2021 AVCA All-American Watch List.

“Kiana plays a crucial role for us as an outside hitter,” Buford volleyball head coach, Hadli Daniels said. “She was a key player in our state championship run last season and has continued to be a consistent force for us in the front row. She has embraced her leadership role as a senior this season and we are so proud of her and excited for her to continue her career at Coppin State!”
