Buford restaurant undergoes follow-up health inspection

A Buford restaurant that failed three consecutive routine health inspections and received a failing grade of 67 on its most recent assessment was reinspected and received a grade of 92.

Pimenton Parrilla at 1570 Buford Highway NE in Buford was inspected by the Georgia Department of Public Health on Monday, May 8, and a follow-up inspection was conducted Tuesday, May 16.

During the follow-up inspection, the inspector noted that the restaurant does not have a handwash sink in the bar area, thus garnishes and lemons for drinks cannot be cut or prep in that area, and dishes and cups cannot be washed in the three-compartment sink unless a hand sink is available for handwashing.
