The owner of a Buford CBD dispensary is facing charges after he was arrested by Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies last week.
Danny Dao, 37, who owns Fusions Dispensary in the 900 block of Atlanta Highway, was arrested at the business about 1 p.m. Friday, March 3. While executing a search warrant, deputies discovered 47 pounds of THC gummies, 170 one-gram vials of THC oil, 20 grams of cocaine and nearly 900 grams of marijuana.
Dao was charged with felony possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, felony possession of cocaine and felony possession of marijuana.
Investigators obtained warrants on Monday, March 6, for additional charges of possession of THC oil, possession of THC with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I drug and possession of a schedule I drug with intent to distribute.
Dao was released from the Hall County Jail on Tuesday evening, March 7, on a $28,000 bond.
The case is still under investigation.
