LAWRENCEVILLE — Six area wrestlers walk away with titles in their weight classes at the Gwinnett County Championships on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021.  The tournament was held at Mountain View High School in Lawrenceville.

Buford walked away with first place out of 14 teams in the overall team trophy with 204 points.  Their five individual weight class champions helped the Wolves to come in with 84 points more than the second-place finisher, Mountain View who had 120 points. Lanier finished eighth while North Gwinnett was No. 11.

The team results are first-place: Buford (204 pts.), second-place: Mountain View (120 pts.), third-place:  Wesleyan (115 pts.), fourth-place: Brookwood (95 pts.) and fifth-place: Archer (88 pts.).
