BUFORD — Buford High School junior Courtney Martin has decided to play for Rollins College (Orlando, Fla.) lacrosse starting in 2021. Martin announced her decision via Twitter on Wednesday.
Martin, a key utility player, helped Buford girl’s lacrosse have a school record-breaking season with the team’s first-ever postseason appearance. The team made it into the second round of the state playoffs. She put up some impressive numbers in her sophomore season with 31 goals, 9 assists, 25 ground balls, 29 caused turnovers, and 73 draw controls.
