Spring Break was a dream come true for sixty-four members of the Buford High School Band of Wolves Marching Band and Color guard Team by performing while marching down Main Street Disney. This was the first appearance in four years for the Band of Wolves in Orlando. Not only did they perform in the midday parade in the Magic Kingdom, they also visited Epcot and Hollywood Studios all while staying at the All Star Music Resort on the Disney property.

“The kids have been looking forward to this trip all year. I’m glad we were able to provide this experience for them. They had a great time

— Luther Harris, Assistant High School Band Director/ Middle School Band Director.

Every marching band member was given the opportunity to attend the trip. For some Seniors it was a final memory of their time spent with the band. As Senior, Suwanee Pineda said, “Going to Disney World with the Buford Band of Wolves was an amazing experience, even more since I’m a senior and I got to spend it with all my friends. Being in a parade at Disney is an experience I will never forget just watching all of the kids looking at us like I used to look at the performers in the parades was heartwarming.”

This trip was a once in a lifetime experience for these students.  They will have these memories to look back on and cherish.
