Dollar General armed robbery

BUFORD — An armed robbery that occurred at a Dollar General store on Ga. Highway 13/Atlanta Highway in Buford on Friday, Dec. 11, is under investigation.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, a suspect holding a handgun approached two female store employees and robbed them of an undisclosed amount of the store’s cash. When deputies, as well as officers with the Flowery Branch and Gainesville police departments arrived, the suspect had fled. A K9 unit was unable to locate the man.

The two victims were not injured during the robbery.

The suspect was described as a black man, 25 to 30 years old with buzz cut hair. He was
wearing khaki pants, black shoes and a black T-shirt with a Star Wars graphic design. He was also wearing a white face mask.
