Annual Dessert Cabaret Theatre Raises Funds for BHS Theatre Seniors

The Wolf Pack Players’ annual charity dessert cabaret took place at the Buford First Baptist Church on April 14th, 2018. The cabaret featured several musical theatre solos and duets from current high school students. The shows from which songs were pulled ranged from classics like Wicked to modern hits like Heathers. Senior McKenzie Boyd, who performed “Love Me, Love Me Not” from Love Me, Love Me Not. “I enjoyed getting to do contemporary numbers that we usually wouldn’t ever do,” she said. “It was so much fun.” The proceeds from this dessert cabaret go towards awarding scholarships to seniors moving forward to study any area of theatre, from acting to musical theatre to technical theatre. The Wolf Pack Players will close their 2017-2018 season with Follies on May 12th, 2018 at the Buford Fine Arts Center.
