Suspects stole credit cards and charged over $1,000 at local Walmart

BUFORD — The Gwinnett County Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects that police believe broke into an unlocked vehicle on September 7, 2019.  They stole credit cards and a handgun from the victim.

Surveillance video was captured of the two suspects using the victim’s credit cards at the Walmart located at 3250 Sardis Church Road in Buford.  The suspects charged over $1,000 during their trip to that Buford Walmart.

According to Public Information Officer, Ashley Wilson, the first suspect is described as being a black male wearing a navy or gray hoodie, dark pants, and dark shoes.  The second suspect is a white male wearing black Adidas pants, a dark-colored zippered jacket with a hood, and dark shoes.

Officers would like to remind citizens to always lock their car doors and never leave any valuables behind in the vehicle.
