Thompson, a native of Statham, Georgia, who grew up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York, will discuss his latest book, “Killer Kudzu,” a pre-apocalyptic, semi-horror novel in which science has gone terribly wrong. Books will be available for sale and signing during the author event.
Thompson is also the author of a trilogy featuring the novel “A Brownstone in Brooklyn,” published in 2001, “Philly Style and Philly Profile,” released in 2007, and “The Ghost of Atlanta,” which was published in 2009 and won the 2011 National Gold Medal for General Fiction presented by Readers Favorite.
The Sundays in Suwanee author event will begin at 3 p.m. at the Suwanee library branch at 361 Main St. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
