Sugar Hill Art Gallery to showcase nature photography by Buford resident

Vaughns

The Sugar Hill Art Gallery is showcasing the work of Buford resident Dwain A. Vaughns II in an exhibition on display through Thursday, June 23.

The exhibition features 10 photographs in Vaughns’ TIMELINE collection and eight additional pieces.

An opening reception for the exhibition will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 13. The Sugar Hill Art Gallery is located at The Local across from the Eagle Theatre at 5010 W. Broad St.

According to the Sugar Hill Arts Commission, “Vaughns’ nature photography breathes new life into familiar imagery for Georgia natives, encouraging one to re-evaluate their surroundings, to appreciate the natural world, look a little more closely, and take nothing for granted.”

The Sugar Hill Art Gallery is staffed primarily by volunteers. When planning a visit, visitors should call 678-541-6125 to ensure the gallery is open.
