Skeletal remains found by deer hunters

FLOWERY BRANCH – The Hall County Sheriff’s Office received a call at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 that skeletal remains were found by two deer hunters.

The deer hunters came across the remains while hunting on land near the intersection of Trudy Drive and Lights Ferry Road.

Hall County Sheriff’s Investigators responded to the scene as well. They processed the scene and even though the investigation is in its early stages, they have credible leads as to the identity of the deceased.

The scene has been processed and cleared while the remains have been sent to the GBI Crime Lab.

Hall County will release more details as they become available.
