Recycle live Christmas trees during Bring One for the Chipper event

Local residents can drop off trees free of decorations, lights and stands at Sims Lake Park at 4600 Suwanee Dam Road now through Saturday, Jan. 8.

Volunteers will be on hand from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, to assist with unloading trees.

Those interested in volunteering to assist during Suwanee’s Bring One for the Chipper event can contact Nicole Schnepper at nschnepper@suwanee.com or 770-945-8996.
