Police seeking suspect in Sugar Hill Church burglary

SUGAR HILL — The Gwinnett County Police Department’s Burglary Unit is seeking the public’s help to identify a male suspect that burglarized a local church.

At approximately 4:30 p.m. on March 22, 2020, security cameras caught a lone white male burglarizing the Sugar Hill Church located at 5091 Nelson Brogdon Boulevard in Sugar Hill.  

The suspect gained entry to the church through a ground floor window in a classroom.  He then proceeded to the second floor where he picked up a black Playstation 4 500GB game console.  The male with the Playstation in hand left the church through a side door walking in the direction of the homes behind the church on Hillcrest Drive.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late teens to early twenties wearing a red plaid shirt, blue jeans, a zip-up jacket, a white Nike baseball cap, and black and white sneakers.
