Police need help to identify forgery suspect

BUFORD — Investigators with the Gwinnett County Police Department are looking for information on the identity of a woman suspected of fraud.  The victim, in this case, is a Lawrenceville resident who says that he mailed a check to Comcast.  Comcast told the victim that they never received his check.  It was later learned that a female used the check on June 22 at the Home Depot located at 4120 Buford Drive in Buford, Ga spending almost $2,700.

Police say the suspect is a white or Hispanic female, between 5’3” – 5’6” tall, and weighing approximately 180-200 pounds.  She was wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt, ripped knee blue jeans, sandals, and glasses.
