Wanted:  Police are seeking information as to the whereabouts of McDaniel who is wanted in connection with the August 18 burglary of a local convenience store.  Photo – Gwinnett PD

BUFORD — Investigators with the Gwinnett County Police Department have issued a warrant for the arrest of Douglas “Wayne” McDaniel, age 50 of Buford in connection with the burglary of the Nalleys II convenience store located at the corner of Shadburn Ferry Road and Buford Dam Road.

As previously reported (click here for the original Nalleys II article), a suspect matching McDaniel’s description broke into the store on August 18.

After news broke about the burglary, citizens came forward to identify McDaniel as the suspect seen in the surveillance photos which led to the warrant being issued for his arrest.

McDaniel’s whereabouts are currently unknown but he frequents the Buford area.

The identity of the driver of the older model Ford Ranger which is an accessory to the burglary is still unknown.
