New series at Gwinnett Library to help job seekers

Staff Reports

If you have never gone to the Gwinnett County Public Library system’s website and looked at what events that they offer in their library branches, then you have missed a whole array of opportunities.  April is a busy month at your local branch. One series, in particular, stood out to me as being a very helpful one to those seeking jobs.

During the month of April, the library is offering a series called April Job Bootcamp Series.  There are five offerings in this series. Each session is free and registration is not required. Below is a list of offerings available in this series at the Buford-Sugar Hill branch.

The library even has one job-hunting session for the teens out there called “Side Hustle: Summer Jobs for Teens”. This session is available on 4/10/19 at 6 p.m. where they will discuss how to discover skills necessary to get and keep a great summer job.  This is available to kids in Grades 6-12.
