A Winder man shot and killed himself after injuring a woman during a domestic dispute behind a Buford warehouse Wednesday, Feb. 22, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

Just after 5:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a warehouse in the 900 block of Sherwin Parkway in Buford. An initial investigation showed the woman and the suspected shooter were involved in a personal relationship and also worked together. After leaving work at the same time, the pair got into the man’s vehicle and then began to argue. When the woman tried to get out of the vehicle, the suspect shot at her, leaving a grazing wound on her abdomen. As the woman ran into a warehouse in the industrial park, HCSO said the man returned to his vehicle and shot himself.

The man, identified as Steven Expose, 32, of Winder, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman did not require hospitalization for her injury.

An investigation into the incident continues.
