Man injured in a home invasion early Saturday in Sugar Hill

(Sugar Hill, Ga.) — The Gwinnett County Police Department responded to a call at approximately 7 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019, about a home invasion that had just occurred at 1670 Primrose Park Road in Sugar Hill.

Three black males with Jamaican accents broke into the home through a window. The suspects wore surgical masks and claimed to be police officers. The suspects tied up the residents of the home and stole cash from the home. After the suspects fled the scene, the victims were able to break free and call the police.

One resident was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries they sustained during the home invasion.

The suspects are believed to be driving a small, dark-colored SUV.

The North Gwinnett Voice reported on a robbery that had occurred on the same road back in December in which a black male was reported to have punched a resident in the face and demanded his wallet. December robbery on Primrose Park Road in Sugar Hill.
