Man exposes himself in Buford store

BUFORD – The Gwinnett County Police Department responded to a call where an unknown male exposed himself to two female shoppers.

The incident occurred at approximately 10 a.m. on January 28, 2020 at the At Home store located at 1605 Buford Highway in Buford.

A police officer met with a store employee upon arrival at the store. The employee briefly described the incident saying that two female customers had told him about an unknown male exposed himself to the women. The employee was able to show the officer security footage of the male suspect.

The footage showed only the back of the suspect. He is described as being a white male wearing a baseball cap, a dark blue/black hoodie, and blue jeans. The employee said that they were going to continue to review footage to see if they could find a better image of him.

The two female victims were no longer at the store but had left their information for police. An officer met up with the victims at a nearby restaurant.

The two women told the officer that they were shopping in At Home when they noticed a man standing approximately 15 feet in front of them in one of the aisles. One of the victims said that the front of his jeans had been cut out clearly exposing his penis. The other woman confirmed that the man’s pants were cut open with his genitals clearly visible.

The ladies moved to another aisle. The male suspect followed them. He continued to expose himself while making eye contact with them. The victims stated that he never came any closer than about 15 feet and he never said anything to them.

When the two women went to inform a store employee about the encounter, the male left the store. He was seen leaving in a fairly new model dark gray/blue pickup truck.
