SUWANEE — North Gwinnett rising senior, Barrett Carter announced his much-awaited decision on which college he would sign with.  Carter made the announcement on Tuesday, May 19, that he has verbally committed to play for the Clemson football program.  May 19 has a special significance to Carter as it is his mother’s birthday.

The 6-foot-1, 220 lbs. linebacker has racked up an impressive 56 college offers according to 247 Sports. Carter is ranked in the Top 60 in the nation and is a four-star recruit by 247 Sports.
