The newly formed Atlanta Havoc is sponsoring the Youth Arena Football League (YAFL) which will play prior to Havoc home games at the Buford Arena starting March 17th.  Havoc Head Coach Boo Mitchell is also heading up the YAFL which will have four different age groups between six and 13 years old; each age group will be allowed eight teams this first season with each team having between sixteen and twenty players. Teams are allowed to have as many coaches as they want during practices, but only four coaches are allowed at games.

The league was formed to give area youth a way to stay in top form all year long and expose them to the arena football style while ensuring players see their fair share of playtime.

The league will close registration when each age group reaches the maximum amount of teams. Children interested must show either proof of a physical within the last year or be current in the Gwinnett Football League (GFL).

The fee to play for the YAFL is $125.  This fee covers their reversible jersey, trainers, security, referees, and use of the Buford Arena.  Players must supply their helmets, pants, shoulder pads, girdles, pads for pants, mouthpiece, cleats, etc.
