WarmingStations

Local residents who need temporary, overnight relief from exposure to frigid temperatures 35 degrees and below have a place to get warm this winter season.

Gwinnett County has opened a warming station at the Buford Senior Center, 2755 Sawnee Ave. The facility will be open from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. when temperatures drop to 35 degrees or below. Meals will also be offered.

The Buford Senior Center is at stop 19 on bus route 101 I-985.

For more information on warming stations or to volunteer, call 770-822-8850 or email OneStopHelp@GwinnettCounty.com.
