Georgia’s top-ranked running back lines up transfer to Buford High School

Justice Haynes, the highest ranked running back in the state of Georgia, is set to transfer from Blessed Trinity to Buford High School for his senior year.

Haynes is a top 50 prospect nationally and is the No. 3 ranked running back for the class of 2023.

The move comes as a major boost to the Wolves, who won the GHSA Class AAAAAA State Championship in 2021 and hope to repeat their success next season as they move up a classification.

Haynes spent the past three years playing for Blessed Trinity, racking up almost 6,000 rushing yards and 72 touchdowns.

Just last season, Haynes ran for 2,375 yards and scored 29 touchdowns throughout Blessed Trinity’s AAAAA season, which ended in the state semifinals.

“BT will always have a special place in my heart,” Haynes said in an Instagram post. “With that being said I will be attending Buford High School next year.”
