Georgia DOT announces lane shift planned for Spout Springs Road

The Georgia Department of Transportation announced on Thursday, Nov. 3 that the last phase of road construction on Spout Springs Road is taking place. The DOT will work to complete the concrete medians.

Currently, motorists are using only one side of the roadway to travel Spout Springs Road from Hog Mountain Road to Union Circle. On Friday, Nov. 4 at 9 a.m., the Georgia DOT will shift traffic on Spout Springs Road to the outer lanes on both the eastbound and westbound lanes from Hog Mountain Road to Union Circle.

The Georgia DOT advises local and commercial drivers who frequently utilize the interchange to follow the Georgia DOT-Northeast social media (Facebook, Twitter) pages for current information regarding the Spout Springs Road project.
